Tp link av600 vs av1000 Sep 11, 2022 · I currently have this powerline adapter which is AV600 and getting 38mbps and was wondering if upgrading to an AV1000 or a more powerful powerline adapter would improve performance. I upgraded to the AV1000 and now I'm consistently getting 200/200. If I upgraded to AV1000 or AV2000 do they have better technology so the link between them will be of a faster speed? I can at least then utilise the giga ports on those adapters. This worked fine for many months until yesterday when the AV 600 would no longer connect. Strange, when I first plugged them in they were so slow. I have 350mbps Wi-Fi so this definitely isn't a bottleneck. About 135Mb/s versus 75Mb/s with AV600.
